The Fayette Art Society was originally organized as the Fayette Society of Fine Art in March of 1994. The mission was and continues to be to create an art community in Fayette county and beyond. The group hosts monthly fine art meetings at the Fayette County Library that are open to everyone, where you can meet local artists, see artwork in person, and hear from a different artist each month about their techniques and methods.
FAS also sponsors local exhibits of art in and around Fayette county in a variety of businesses and public places. Our artists come together to exhibit and show work at a variety of local events, and hosts a regular Fine Art Show.
